Invoices, payment methods, and cancelling

Managing billing through the Stripe portal, what cancelling does, and what happens if a payment fails.
Everything to do with money — your card, your invoices, and cancelling — is handled in Stripe's billing portal, reachable from Manage billing in Settings → Plan. That is deliberate: this app never stores your card details.
What the billing portal can do
- Update or replace your payment method.
- Download past invoices and receipts.
- Update the billing address and tax details on your invoices.
- Cancel your subscription.
Manage billing only appears once you have upgraded at least once — before that there is no customer record to open.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your access immediately: Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and Settings → Plan shows the date it will end. When that date passes you move to Free.
If a payment fails
Your plan is marked past due and you will see a notice in the app. Stripe retries automatically, so an expired card usually resolves itself once you update it in the billing portal — you do not need to re-subscribe. A successful retry restores Pro immediately.
Refunds
There is a 7-day no-card trial specifically so that paying is a decision you make after using the product. If something has still gone wrong — a duplicate charge, or a renewal you did not expect — email [email protected] with the invoice and we will sort it out.
